Mental Health

One in five people will suffer from a form of mental illness at some point during their life, whether it is anxiety, depression, stress, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or other psychiatric illnesses. Everyone goes through highs and lows and experiences different levels of stress throughout their life, however, when these symptoms persist for a long period of time, it is important to discuss these with your doctor.

Individualised Support for Mental Health

We are all different, with our own coping mechanisms, hence no two people react in the same way to a particular situation. Therefore, it is important for your doctor to also take an individualised approach, discuss and identify the issue and develop a management plan that is best suited to your individual needs.

Our doctors take the time and care required to understand the issues before deciding if further care is necessary, such as referral to a psychologist/psychiatrist, addition or adjustment to your medications, or arranging further investigations if they feel physical cause needs to be excluded.

With a fully qualified, experienced and friendly team on hand who are committed to supporting every patients physical and mental health and wellbeing, we provide a confidential and safe experience for patients in need of guidance or clarity to deal with a range of problems.

Please discuss with reception what the appropriate time length for your appointment would be, as an extended appointment may be required.
