Dr Christine Martin is originally from Victoria. Christine moved to the UK after graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1974.
She returned to Australia in 1978 and spent a year as a paediatrician in the Special Care baby unit at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She went on to work as a Locum GP in rural Victoria, then settling down to work as a GP in Wheelers Hill Melbourne, Rosedale Community Health Care Centre and Lochsport Outreach Services. Christine ran the STI clinic at Latrobe Regional Hospital for 25 years after completing her venereology studies at Alfred Hospital.
Christine enjoys spending her time competing within the equestrian discipline of dressage.
